About the festival

The West Virginia Bigfoot Festival first began on June 26, 2021 alongside the grand opening of The West Virginia Bigfoot Museum. The very first year, the festival drew a large crowd and caught statewide media attention. The festival was attended by approximately 1,500 people and featured a Bigfoot symposium. Vendors, food, Bigfoot researchers, art, and of course, the Bigfoot Museum itself, provided a great experience and made the first annual West Virginia Bigfoot Festival a success.

Following its initial success in 2021, the 2022 proved to be an even bigger success drawing thousands of more visitors and even more vendors.

The 2023 Festival was our biggest to date with nearly ten-thousand attendees and one-hundred vendors! For the 2024 season, we have moved the festival to Holly Gray Park just outside of downtown for improved parking and expanded access!

Camping

RV SPACES

All RV sites include Electric and Water. There are currently eight sites available, site one is limited access and is large enough only for a small tent camper or similar. There is a dump site available behind the restrooms, this will have limited access during the festival during peak times. Bath house is roughly 300 yards away. All sites are directly next to festival activities.

RV PRICES

RV Sites are only bookable for the entire weekend. $250 for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Early booking (before May 1, 2024) will receive a discount of $25 for a total of $225!

In addition to this, there is a $20 fee per vehicle, this will be valid for the entire weekend for admittance in and out of the festival.

TENT SPACES

Tent spaces are limited to twenty available.

Sites 1-7 are semi-shaded and along the stream.

Site 8-20 are in a field and have no shade.

You will be assigned a space automatically based on your preference of sites 1-7 or 8-20.

These are primitive sites with no electric and no water. Sites are large enough to accommodate several tents and may vary in terrain but are mostly flat. All sites are directly next to festival activities. Bath house is roughly 300 yards away.

REGISTRATION

Please complete the registration form below. Upon receipt of the form, we will send a contract and invoice for payment. Sites will be given based on the order received, if another person has already booked the site, we will contact you to arrange a different one.

If you are requesting a tent site next to another camper, please include in your notes.

Upon our sending invoice and contract, you have seven days to return and remit payment or we will move onto the next person.
